The opinion we have about someone is mainly based on our own prejudices according to our social or cultural universe, or even to our own experience in life. Theses unconscious judgments can end up being wrong...

Since the beginning of human reflection by means of philosophy, man has realized that knowledge based on senses is a knowledge that reveals and hides the truth of things as they are. Understanding why is this happening is a question that has been raised for ages. Find the necessary scientific discernment to understand, on one hand, what belongs to the characteristics of our senses and nervous system and, on the other hand, what strictly belongs to things, is not an easy task.

Even though we have made a great progress in researching the nature of sense organs and nervous system, there is still a long way to go on the process that takes place in the brain until we reach what we call the knowledge of things.

For many years, everything that 'was hidden' was considered as real, regardless of its appearance and its phenomenology; the knowledge attempt was to 'reveal' what was hidden as an essence, only accessible by means of reason.

Nowadays, the research purpose is the phenomenon itself, by means of which we try to find out the truth that lies in its own manifestation and that we interpret in so many different ways, being some more appropriate than others, according to context.

Therefore, we need to consider different sorts of knowledge, as well as different types of truth.

The world lives on appearances; that is why, we keep being so ignorant.

Everyone can see what you show off. Nobody feels what you really are.

Would my personality change if I wear different clothes? Then, why do we judge people at first glance?
